Аннотация
The relaxation of optical and acoustic magnons in the multisublattice, noncollinear, antiferromagnet UO2 is studied phenomenologically, employing the equation of motion of the sublattice magnetizations. It is shown that the relaxation of optical magnons is determined by the uniform exchange interactions. The damping Pi (i = 1,2,3) of each of the three acoustic branches of the magnon spectrum is represented in the form Γi=B/2λrel +λexq2+λ1ωsi2/4BL02, where ωsi is the frequency of the corresponding branch of the spectrum, and the quantities B and λ1 are of an exchange nature.
