On the increase in the critical parameters of heterophase superconductors during their cyclic treatment by an external magnetic field
Аннотация
The effect of a magnetic field on the behavior of heterophase superconducting systems, viz., the systems in which the superconducting and the normal phase or phases with different superconducting transition temperatures coexist, is considered. The stresses acting in an external magnetic field on a transformation dislocation at the interface between two phases may lead to a displacement of the dislocation along the phase boundary. This can be accompanied by an increase in the volume fraction of the superconducting phase and in the superconducting parameters of a heterophase sample on the whole. Such assumptions are put forth for explaining the experimental results obtained during investigations of a heterophase superconductor NbSe2-hydrogen. Upon a cyclic treatment of this superconductor by an external magnetic field at temperatures below the superconducting transition temperature, the critical parameters Tc, Hc, and Jc of the superconducting state increase.
