Аннотация
Ultrasonic studies of Nd2CuO4 carried out at low temperatures reveal anomalies in elastic properties of this compound, which indicate the presence of a spontaneous phase transition as well as those induced by an external magnetic field. An analysis of the obtained results on the basis of the phenomenological approach leads to important conclusions concerning the state of the copper subsystem at helium temperatures. Fragments of H vs T phase diagrams (H‖ [100] and H‖ [110]) Nd2CuO4 are presented, and the effect of Ce-doping on low-temperature phase transitions in Nd2CuO4 is studied.
