Аннотация

Plastic deformation of binary alloys Al+3.8, 7.0, or 10.4 at. % Li is studied under conditions of extension at a constant rate at temperatures down to 0.5 K. The temperature dependences of the plasticity parameters are studied, low-temperature singularities of these dependences are established, and their origin is discussed. In the temperature interval 4.2–0.5 K, the effect of the degree of deformation, temperature, and superconducting transition on the jumpwise deformation of alloys is studied. A qualitative comparison is made between the experimental data and the prevailing theories of thermomechanical deformation instability.
