Аннотация

The construction of the basic elements and working characteristics of two versions of a continuous-cycle dilution refrigerator with adsorption evacuation, intended for physical investigations at ultralow temperatures, are described. In comparison with the traditional dilution refrigerators, the versions described here are more compact, economical, have a good vibration insulation, and can also easily be used for organizing a one-cycle dilution regime. The minimum temperature attained in the refrigerator with a single continuous-flow heat-exchanger is 18 mK in the continuous cycle operation and 5–8 mK in the single-cycle regime. The minimum temperature in the continuous-cycle dilution refrigerator can be decreased to 8 mK by introducing discrete heat-exchangers.
