Research on Buiding Populus davidiana Hybrid New Strain in Xiaoxing′an Mountainous Region

On the basis of fine seedling source,standing forest,fine individual selection and establishment gene pool;we studied interspecific hybridization,hybridization of seed source,clone breeding and test,thus breeding 10 Populus davidiana hybrid new strains.The results show that A,Populus alba×Populus davidiana CL.'1333',R,East-two,AA,Populus tremula L.Populus davldian Dode×(Populus alba×Populus davidiana)CL.'1134',Populus davldian Dode×(Populus alba×Populus davidiana)CL.'1132',Populus alba×Populus davidiana and X all have the markable heredity;moreover;the growth of height is same as the ordinary Populus davidiana,the growth of diameter is thicker than ordinary Populusdavidiana 50.96%;the growth of volume is bigger than ordinary Populus davidiana 127.5%.The 10 Populus davidiana Hybrid new strains all can be suitable to the ecological environment of Xiaoxing'an mountainous region,besides,A,Populus alba×Populus davidiana CL.'1333',R and East-two that have the extremely remark heredity gain are the better.
