An analytic expression making it possible to calculate the effective absorbability of the “translucent cover-radiation absorbing heat-exchange panel” system of flat solar collectors considering the absorbability of the translucent cover is presented. A practical example of the calculation of the effective absorbability of the examined system with single-layer translucent cover as a function of the integral coefficient of total solar radiation reflection of the radiation absorbing surface of the heat-exchange panel is given.
