Ultra trace plutonium isotopic analyse by thermo ionization mass spectrometry

An anion exchange combined with TTA extraction decontamination method was established.The nanogram quantity Plutonium was separated from milligram uranium and the decontamination coeficient rechieved 107,the recovery coefficient 95%.The active carbon powder was chosen as the ionization intensifier to increase the plutonium ion flow.Used 6.7 pg Plutonium standard as sample to measured by TIMS and the RSD of the 240Pu/239Pu ≤3.6%.
