Application of Water Retaining Agent in Afforestation for Drought Resistance

Experiment on water retaining agent with different seedling treatments,various concentrations and dosages of water retaining solutions,different site conditions were carried out.The result showed that water retention agent will significantly increase the survival rate of afforestation in dry area,the most suitable concentration of water retaining agent is 1:300,and that use of 10~25 g of water retaining agent in each planting pit will greatly improve the survival rate.
