Residual stress analysis and J75 stainless steel experiment by X-ray diffraction
Аннотация
The basic principle of the residual stress analysis by X-ray diffraction is briefly introduced.Based on this, the measurement methods are discussed and contrasted.Fixed ψ angle and side sloping methods are usually the perfect experiment mode.By analyzing and estimating the peak position determined methods,it is figured out that cross-correlation method is an ideal method. The stress of J75 hydrogen corrosion resistant steel quenched at different temperatures was measured by X-ray diffraction. The results show that the stress values are mainly between-300 MPa and-600 MPa and don't increase along with heating temperature, and its maximal value appears between 650 ℃ and 750 ℃.The variation of stress values in vertical cutting is smaller than it in transverse cutting. The peak intensities, which are measured in some direction, vary greatly with ψ angle and affect experiment results to some extent.
