Spectral properties of the quarter-plane problem using the Wiener-Hopf method

This paper reviews the two dimensional spectral formulation of the quarter-plane problem using the WienerHopf method. Properties of this representation are investigated and an approximate method for the solution is proposed using the Fredholm factorization method together with recursive equations.
