Dual-use technologies in production of XXI soldier combat uniform and civilian goods

The necessity and possibility of using NBIC-technologies (nano-, bio-, info-, and cognitive technologies) in production of the uniform for the XXI soldier and application of these technologies in civilian areas (clothes, footwear, household textiles, medicine, sports, cosmetics etc.) are discussed. The outlines for implementation of such a project in the United States and a draft solution for a similar problem in the Russian Federation are described.
