Analysis of Chemical Components in the Aromatic Water from Melaleuca bracteata Oil

Аннотация

The volatile components in the aromatic water from Melaleuca bracteata Oil were identified by GC,GC-MS and were compared with essential oil.The main component of essential oil was methyl eagenol reached 90%.The chemical components of the aromatic water and the essential oil from Melaleuca bracteata were basically the same.The productive rate of aromatic water could be enhanced by using twice-distillation procedure for recovering the light components.A number of new products could be developed.
