Symptoms Based Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Recommendation

For any person, healthy life is the top priority. For a happy life, it’s important to keep monitoring on your health. The most trusted and reliable means for this is to get the health checkup and diagnosis of disease. Numerous treatments are available for various diseases, but there is no place where a person can get the detail of the diseases and their treatments. This research work is an attempt to provide solution of this problem where user will be able to get recommendations for treatment by just entering their symptoms. This research proposes an idea of developing a system which can eliminate this tedious process of visiting hospitals (specially in this pandemic situation) and getting a doctor appointment. This research work is about to apply the various concepts of NLP and machine learning for building a chatbot application. User will be able to interact with the chatbot application like how they do with other human beings and through a series of queries, the application will try predicting the disease and recommend treatment for it. The proposed system will be immensely useful to people as they will be able to conduct their daily health check-ups, it will make people aware of the status of their health and motivate them to take proper measures to be healthy free of cost.
