Based on the study of philosophical literature and the experience of teaching social and humanitarian disciplines, the report substantiates the need to humanize and humanize higher education in the modern conditions of the information society. It is substantiated that the new paradigm of teaching the humanities is based on three basic principles: pluralism, representativeness, and distance.
