Role of the design code in improving the quality of the urban environment

AbstractThe article examines the issues of the need to introduce a "design code" in the cities of Uzbekistan. The analysis of the significance of this set of rules for today is carried out, the definition of "design code" is given and the main tasks to be solved by the action of the "design code" are listed. The positive and negative effects of the "design code" on the state of the city are revealed. The experience of applying the measures of this document in cities abroad is also considered.
