Special properties of hydrogen
Аннотация
AbstractIn this work, the analysis of the obtained data with an additional supply of hydrogen to internal combustion engines as an additive to gasoline is considered. Alternative drives and energy sources that do not harm the environment are called the hope of tomorrow. Fuel cells are considered the most optimal solution to energy problems: an electric current is generated from hydrogen and oxygen, which is used to drive the engine. As a result of the electrochemical process, in addition to electrical energy, only heat and water vapour are formed. For the industrial production of hydrogen, a large number of different methods have been proposed. The latter include piston engines with a layer-by-layer charge distribution, gas turbine, steam and rotary engines, as well as Stirling engines. Some of these engines, in particular Stirling engines, can in principle provide the possibility of creating a low-toxic car on conventional fuels that meets future stringent standards. Over the past few years, a large number of prototypes of electric vehicles have been built. In electric vehicles, the use of fuel cells converting electrical energy directly from fuel without an intermediate stage is more promising.
