AbstractThe article discusses the features of using STEAM technology for the development of professional speech in English by students of the Mining and Metallurgical Faculty. It reveals the essence of STEAM as a pedagogical technology and describes in detail the content of its components. The author substantiates in detail the relevance, expediency and effectiveness of the use of subject-language integrated learning in English lessons. Analysis of the main advantages of STEAM - teaching and teaching English to students of the mining and metallurgical faculty combines an interdisciplinary and project approach, which is based on the integration of natural sciences into technology, engineering creativity.
