AbstractThis article discusses the definition of the word “Safarnoma”, its perfection as a genre, the peculiarities of the genre between the similarities and differences between works from the travel cycle, as well as the widespread use of the travel motif in a fairy tale. A comparative analysis of a number of works, revealing the impressions of travel offamous tourists or the content of travel, is carried out.
