EXPERIENCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CORONAVIRUS INFECTION

Abstract: This article presents the entire experience of anti-epidemic and preventive work done in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the fight against a new coronavirus infection. The main strategy of the republic was to counter the spread of coronavirus, which was aimed at tight control of the growth of the epidemic and minimization of economic damage.  The spread of infection forced the government of the republic to introduce practical restrictions (isolation mode), the termination of external and internal transport links, and the restriction of the functioning of enterprises.  In the fight against the pandemic, the following were actively involved: primary prevention, aimed at preventing disease and daily prevention;  secondary prevention, including measures for early diagnosis and treatment of the disease and tertiary prevention, the task of which is the maximum possible restoration of body functions after the disease and its complications.
