IMPROVEMENT OF THE RESULTS OF COMBINED PLEURODESIS WITH VIDEOTHORACOSCOPIC INTERVENTIONS IN PATIENTS WITH BULLOUS LUNG DISEASE

Abstract. Purpose of the study: to improve the results of videothoracoscopic surgical interventions in bullous lung disease based on clinical and experimental evaluation of the effectiveness of optimized combined pleurodesis techniques. Material and methods. The basis of clinical trials will be the results of treatment of 59 patients with bullous pulmonary disease complicated by rupture, who received treatment at the State Institution “Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Surgery named after Acad. V. Vakhidov” and the Bukhara Regional Multidisciplinary Medical Center. Results. The developed method of chemical pleurodesis when performing videothoracoscopic interventions provides adequate formation of the adhesions in the pleural cavity with a decrease in the risk of relapses of the complicated course of bullous pulmonary disease from 6.5% (in 2 of 31 patients in the comparison group) to 3.6% (in 1 of 28 patients in the main group), and, in general, made it possible to increase the proportion of patients with no immediate and long-term complications from 77.4% (24 patients in the comparison group) to 89.3% (25 patients in the main group).
