Аннотация

To date, there is no alternative to the introduction of the principles of integrated water resources management (IWRM), this is proved by the research of SIC ICWC on the territory of the South Fergana main canal, where the specific water supply per hectare of irrigated area has been reduced by 32% on an area of 120 thousand hectares, that is up to 7 thousand m³/ha, instead of the limited ones 10 thousand m³/ha. Researches recommend cutting off all types of collector-drainage waters (CDW) from the river trunks of the Aral Sea basin, including the Syr-Darya and Amu-Darya, since CDW are the main sources of water pollution. With furrow irrigation technology: waste water from irrigated fields on an area of 2.3 million hectares of non-saline lands is recommended to be reused on the following irrigated areas; waste water from irrigated fields on an area of 1.3 million hectares of slightly saline lands is recommended to be directed to natural depressions or special reservoirs for their further use during irrigation of droughts, and salt-tolerant crops, melons, vegetables, forage crops, including alfalfa; waste water from irrigated fields on an area of 0.68 million hectares of moderately and highly saline lands is recommended to be directed to natural depressions or special reservoirs, depending on their volumes, mineralization, the content of toxic salts, they can be used for irrigation of drought, salt tolerant and other crops mixing with fresh irrigation water to a mineralization of 2-3 g/1 during periods of water scarcity (dry years).
