This article describes the essence of the concept of the digital economy, the role of e-commerce in the development of the digital economy, as well as trends in the development of e-commerce in the world and in Uzbekistan, the problems associated with its development.\n\nThe purpose of the study is the development of e-commerce in Uzbekistan in the context of the digital economy, the identification of factors affecting it, and the development of recommendations for practical application.\n\nScientific novelty of the research:\n\n- The need to develop e-commerce in the digital economy of the country;\n\n- Studied the factors influencing the development of e-commerce;\n\n- The factors influencing e-commerce were studied, and practical proposals for their improvement were given.\n\n
