FACTORS INFLUENCING THE CHOICE OF METHODS FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF WATER TREATMENT FACILITIES IN UZBEKISTAN

The article examines the state of water treatment facilities as a factor of environmental safety and sustainability. Prevention of negative impacts of engineering communications, in particular sewage systems, on the environment and the elimination of a number of environmental problems are directly related to reconstruction and modernization of water treatment facilities, built in the middle of the last century and before independence. Consequently, we have analyzed information about wastewater treatment plants in the country in the context of regions. Both, the effectiveness of treatment facilities with an account of the year of their construction in 1955-1980, 1955¬1980, 1981-2000, 2001-2020 and the reasons of their low efficiency have been reviewed. Particular attention was paid to the importance of ensuring that the quality of the treated water meets the required level by renovating treatment facilities while reducing financial costs. A number of organizational, technological, technical, and economic measures related to restoration and reconstruction of treatment facilities have been discussed, and the stages of their implementation - shown schematically. As well as factors influencing the choice of methods for reconstruction of treatment facilities in Uzbekistan have been elucidated
