Аннотация

One of the most effective methods of cognition of the surrounding world is the method of mathematical modeling. It is known that the philosophers of the ancient world, without using the term “model”, created their natural philosophical concepts as systems of statements, for the illustration of which qualitative analogies were developed and natural, real-life objects and phenomena and attempts were made to justify their validity. In the Renaissance there was a need to move from intuitive, empirical to scientific analogy. Experimental modeling appeared, associated with the names of Leonardo da Vinci, Johann Kepler, Galileo Galilei, Nicolaus Copernicus, and others. These scientists actively used analog models, created ideal and graphic designs from elements of real things, and then applied the results of their research in their projects.
