Economic efficiency of the transport system and logistics in the republic of Uzbekistan

The research article emphasizes the high role of logistics in the world economy and the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, all this suggests that logistics has an important place in the practice of private entrepreneurship. The main trends in the development of the transport and logistics sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the factors that hinder the development of the local transport and logistics system are revealed. The object of the study is the transport system of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and its effectiveness. Analysis, grouping, synthesis, a method for calculating the index of the level of logistics efficiency in Uzbekistan were chosen as research methods. The study examines the place of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to the international LPI rating, and the reasons for increasing its rating. As a result of the study, proposals are made to increase the country’s transit potential and create an effective system of transport and logistics services.
