Аннотация
A soil-compacting tool may be regarded as a vibrational system consisting of inert and elastic elements. Attention focuses on a system with a single degree of freedom that vibrates vertically under the action of a perturbing force. Differential equations are derived for the vertical vibration of the system. Formulas are obtained for the rigidity of springs commonly used in agriculture.
