Abstract The main scientific problem is the definition of a strategy for the stable development of agriculture and the deepening of economic reforms in the conditions of market relations. The paper considers models for assessing agricultural and processed products, taking into account the demand of the domestic and foreign markets of the agro-industrial complex. The ability to study the consequences of decisions made using a simulation system is one of its main advantages.
