Samarkand region land resources and the status of their use in the economy

Abstract The article talks about the composition of agricultural land resources of Samarkand region, including irrigated land resources and its importance. The role of these lands in the agro-economy of the region, the district-level characteristics are described by its land types. In agriculture, the share of irrigated land and arable land is represented in the form of tables and diagrams. The importance of irrigated land in the economy of regional districts is shown by the example of regional agriculture and other industries. In the concluding part of the article, proposals and recommendations on the rational use of agricultural land in the economy have been developed.
