THE PLACE OF ANCIENT SUGDH IN THE CENTRAL ASIAN MIGRATION SYSTEM

The article scientifically examines the role of ancient Sogd in the migration system of Central Asia. Ancient Sogdiana borders on all other historical and cultural lands of the region - Ancient Bactria, Margiyana, Khorezm, Fergana, Chach and the northern steppes, which is a leading factor in the formation of the Sughd region as a political, economic and cultural center of Central Asia.. .. It was noted that the role of Sogd in new economic and cultural ties in the region and in the system of ancient roads, where these ties are realized, is manifested in the rise of the cities of ancient Sogd as regional administrative and political centers.
