Аннотация

Linguocultural concept is an important constituent in the process of description of a national world picture. However, in a belles-lettres text a linguocultural concept can represent individual author’s perception of the objective reality, which description goes beyond the stereotyped frames of national-cultural specificity. The present research is devoted to the analysis of individual-author’s representation of linguocultural bipolar concept “life/death” in a belles-letters text demonstrating the peculiarities of explication of additional connotations, which are not represented in either in lexicographic or linguocultural sources. The special concern relates not only to the adequate degree of interpretation, but also to the choice of translation resources explicating original author’s intention and representing conceptual integrity of a belles-lettres text in translation
