Abstract: Due to the current requirements for professional training reflected in the resolutions on higher education, the role of Internet technologies is central to improving the quality of education, raising the volume of independent study and creating favorable conditions for online teaching and learning.\n\nThere is a lot of experience in integrating Internet technology into high school EFL programs and educators’ electronic-medium instructions for implementation into the practice of language education. However, the problems of preparation and organizing materials for online lectures are still topical. This article deals with one important alternative, which is to take advantage of integrating theory and practice on the basis of Internet technologies. For several reasons, traditional instructions for lecture delivery often do not accomplish the objectives of the credit module system implemented in foreign language faculties and do not take into consideration the virtual environment and time expenses as well as the specificity of materials for obtaining or academic knowledge assimilating in the online format while delivering the lecture. It is one of the challenges for study to be competent in the preparation of lectures in the online format. In this article, we will describe three areas of study which are related to: 1) difficulties, principles, and peculiarities of online lecture materials design; 2) instructional input in the field of interactional aspect of pedagogical discourse on the basis of film watching; 3) survey results and effects of video and instructional strategies on teaching pedagogical discourse at the MA department of Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami.
