WORLD ECONOMY AFTER PANDEMIC

<strong>Abstract:</strong> this article is devoted to assessing the impact of the pandemic on the state of the world economy, in particular, the negative consequences of the pandemic for world economic growth are analyzed. In 2020, most countries will face a recession. An analysis of economic damage by region is provided. The dynamics of the consequences of the pandemic with the subsequent economic effect on various industries is reviewed. The measures of the governments of the countries to maintain employment and mitigate the crisis are studied. The pandemic has exposed the fragility of global value chains and countries will have to prepare for the changing nature of the global economy. The article highlights the need to take urgent action to mitigate the economic impact of the pandemic, protect vulnerable populations and create conditions for long-term recovery.
