Carrying out primary elimination activities in the Turkestan ASSR (1918–1922)

AbstractThe article analyzes the organization and means of implementing the Soviet campaign in the Turkestan ASSR to eliminate adult illiteracy, which was carried out in 1918–1922. Data on the courses organized in the region to eliminate illiteracy, the number of people involved in them, and the organization of teacher training for schools to eliminate illiteracy are summarized.
