COMPLEX COMBINATION OF COBALT (II) WITH PARA-NITROBENZOIC ACID AND ETHYLENEDIAMINE: SYNTHESIS AND STRUCTURE

This research clarifies the synthesis of a coordination compound of cobalt (II) chloride with ethylenediamine (EDA) and para-nitro benzoic acid. Moreover, we studied the dependence of the synthesis process on time, temperature and the concentration. We investigated the newly synthesized coordination compound and proved its chemical structure by means of the Infrared spectroscopic method, elemental analysis, thermal analysis and X-ray structural analysis, furthermore, its thermal and chemical stability were shown.
