INTERPRETATION OF ONE BEIT OR ABOUT TRANSLATIONS OF SOME WORDS IN THE NAVOI ANTHOLOGY

The article discusses the research conducted by Professor S. Ganiyeva in the course of preparing the scientific-critical text of the anthology "Mejalis un-nafais", the problems of preparing a critical text, a comparative study of manuscripts and some mistakes made in the process of translating anthology into Cyrillic, as well as suggestions for correction of these errors in subsequent editions of the anthology. Professor S. Ganieva set herself a difficult and very responsible task for her scientific activity and successfully completed it. Given the differences between the literary language of the 15th century and the modern one, she wrote notes and comments to acquaint modern readers with Navoi's prose. Despite all these efforts, it is still difficult for the average reader to understand the meaning of some of the words and expressions used by Navoi and some of the stanzas mentioned in the anthology. Or, in the process of publishing the anthology in Cyrillic and Latin, technical errors were made, which made it a little difficult to understand the information provided by Navoi. Correcting these technical errors will help to better understand Navoi's prose.
