Abstract The process of gas drying is carried out by improving the technical-economic performance, eliminating negative situations raised, reducing the amount of residual water in regenerated absorbent to less than 0.5% and organizing the process in desorber by holding the temperature in the bottom of desorber below the temperature of thermal destruction of glycol. In this research, alternative methods to increase the efficiency of the passage of water molecules from the gas content in the absorber plates to the absorbent by the mass transfer and the factors influencing the absorption process have been studied.
