Obstructive uropathy without timely diagnosis and adequate treatment is accompanied by a delay in the functional development of the kidneys, and when secondary changes are added, a complete loss of kidney function. Therefore, assessment of the degree of preservation of renal function determines the prognosis of this disease. Today, despite the variety of existing methods for examining the kidneys, timely diagnosis of nephrosclerosis is difficult, and as a result, it is often detected only at a late stage, when there is a high risk of developing chronic renal failure.
