Hydroimpact of a partially permeable plate, with jet break-off

A direct impact of a partially permeable plate with separation of jets by an unlimited flow of incompressible fluid is considered. A feature of this problem is that the area of contact of the body with the fluid, as well as the separation area, is not known in advance and must be determined together with the fluid flow after the impact. As a consequence, this problem is nonlinear and belongs to the class of problems with free boundaries. Methods of the theory of functions of a complex variable are widely used to solve problems of hydrodynamic shock. The proposed method allows you to represent the main characteristics of the impact in a simple analytical form, and convenient for engineering calculations. The impulse of strength acting on the plate upon impact is calculated.
