ON THE METHODOLOGY FOR CALCULATING THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF RENT FOR FOREST PLOTS LEASED FOR THE PURPOSE OF HARVESTING WOOD AND THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF PAYMENT UNDER CONTRACTS FOR THE PURCHASE AND SALE OF FOREST PLANTATIONS

The analysis of judicial arbitration practice shows that a significant number of court disputes between the authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation exercising delegated powers in the field of forest relations and persons using forests is associated with challenging the correctness of the calculation of rent, primarily for timber harvesting. One of the reasons contributing to the filing of claims is the absence of a regulatory act regulating the mechanism for calculating such payments. Taking into account the urgency of this problem, this article presents a methodology for calculating the minimum amount of rent for forest plots leased for the purpose of harvesting wood, and the minimum amount of payment under contracts for the purchase and sale of forest plantations.
