GENEALOGICAL IDENTITIES IN THE PEDIGREE TREE OF THE UZBEKS

On the basis of historical and anthropological sources, ethnographic materials, the article highlights the genealogies preserved among the Uzbeks and the issues of understanding genealogical identity associated with their tribal system. The tradition of using genealogical memory and historical and anthropological heritage as a means of self-expression in various ethnographic groups (clan, generation, group) and social strata among Uzbeks is analyzed.
