RELATIONSHIP OF POSTOPERATIVE SCAR ON THE UTERUS AND TYPE II COLLAGEN
Аннотация
Objective: Determine the level of Collagen type II, to further determine the management of women after caesarean section. Methods: The study was conducted in 100 women with one scar on the uterus, divided into two groups depending on the method of delivery, who applied to the maternity ward of the multidisciplinary clinic No. 1 of the SamSMU. Were used general clinical methods, laboratory with the determination of the level of type II collagen, ultrasound diagnostics of the viability of the scar. Results: The interval after caesarean section before re-delivery averaged 3.1±1.2 years. Among the indications for the first CS operation, the anomalies of labor activity that were not amenable to drug correction and progressive intrauterine hypoxia prevailed. In the postoperative period, the presence of various complications was noted. In the main group, the average concentration of Collagen type II was 322.28 ± 34.5 ng/ml, in the comparison group 328.22 ± 17.5 ng/ml. Conclusions. Thus, the level of type II collagen can help in the choice of delivery tactics, since its values show a significant relationship with the consistency of the scar.
