Modeling the kinematic parameters of the planetary mechanism of the cotton harvester

The paper presents the kinematics of the satellite (roller) interacting with the flexible links of the epi and the hypocyclic planetary mechanism to drive the spindles of the vertical spindle cotton picker apparatus. When calculating the movement of the spindles in the harvesting device, the geometric sliding of the drive rollers along flexible belt drives was taken into account due to the small value of their wrap angle. The cyclogram of a bicyclic planetary gear for the drive of the spindles is given. The graph of the curve of the epicyclic, hypocyclic trajectory of movement of the satellite point and the character of the movement of the trajectory of the point of the satellite curve of the planetary mechanism in the working, removable, and transition zones are presented.
