WAYS TO IMPROVE THE ACTIVITIES OF ENTERPRISES EMPLOYING PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (THE EXAMPLE OF SAMARKAND REGION)

The article analyzes the activities of 13 specialized enterprises for the disabled in Samarkand region based on the results of research conducted by the working commission formed by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In the course of the study, such issues as the condition of these enterprises, production capacity, the degree of use of buildings and facilities and land plots, working conditions, and the purchasing power of the products produced were analyzed in detail. As a result of the analysis and research, proposals have been made on such issues as improving the activities of specialised enterprises for persons with disabilities in the region, increasing the volume of production, increasing the number of consumers of products, improving working conditions, and creating new jobs for persons with disabilities.
