Language acquisition in children is a multifaceted process that involves the development of linguistic competence and communicative skills. This research paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the theories, stages, and factors influencing language acquisition in children. By examining the role of caregivers and the environment, the stages of language development, and the critical period hypothesis, this study sheds light on the intricate mechanisms involved in children's language acquisition. The findings highlight the significance of early exposure to language and the importance of supportive linguistic environments for optimal language development.
