THE ROLE OF CRIMINAL LAW TASKS AND FUNCTIONS IN THE FORMATION OF CRIMINAL LAW PRINCIPLES

The principles of criminal law arise from the tasks and functions of criminal law. Based on the fact that criminal law consists of protective, warning and regulatory relations, the article reveals the content of its functions. It is based on the fact that the functions of criminal law are a direction that affects public relations regulated by criminal law, is expressed in the methods of criminal law regulation, and ensures the fulfillment of criminal law tasks. The idea is put forward that the functions of criminal law are the directions for the implementation of the tasks of criminal law, expressed in protection from criminal encroachments, crime prevention and personality education. It is substantiated that the tasks and functions of criminal law are implemented through ideas and directions reflected in criminal law principles.
