INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE TREATMENT OF PERIODON TISSUES IN POSTMENOPAUSE WOMEN WITH CHRONIC DIFFERENT PARODONTITIS
Аннотация
In recent years, many studies in the world have been devoted to studying the nature of the relationship between systemic osteoporosis and widespread periodontitis, however, the available data are contradictory and require additional research. Periodontitis is a multifactorial disease caused by bacterial pathogens, the main cause of tooth loss is the destruction of the connective tissue structure, the formation of deep periodontal pockets, and the loss of bone tissue of the alveolar process. A number of local scientific studies have shown that systemic estrogen-deficient osteoporosis affects the teeth of postmenopausal women. This is manifested in a decrease in the height of the interdental barrier, the appearance of foci of osteoporosis in the body of the lower jaw, and a decrease in the density of the alveolar process.
