ABOUT THE TOPONYM «BUYO»

Buyo is considered an important village in the history of Uzbekistan. Since, it was in this ancient village that a major event in the history of Uzbek statehood took place. Here Sayyid Baraka presented Sahibkiran Amir Temur with state symbols - a banner and a drum. Such a place of great importance remained unknown until now. During the years of independence, a number of researches were conducted to identify this place.This article discusses the historical location of Buyo, its study and significance.
