The article presents modern ideas about a comprehensive approach to the treatment of coronary heart disease (CHD). The basic principles of treatment of chronic coronary heart disease are given, considerable attention is paid to antithrombotic therapy, assessment of myocardial viability and management of patients after coronary artery stenting. The practical aspects of the use of antithrombotic therapy in patients with stable coronary heart disease are highlighted. The results of our own research are presented.
