Аннотация
The paper presents the types of alfalfa crop distributed in Uzbekistan and the worldwide, the role of alfalfa on crop rotation and improving soil fertility, the review of local and foreign researches on alfalfa irrigation. Also, on the basis of the review of these literatures, the aspects that have not been studied in the researches are investigated, and the data on the researches conducted in the conditions of the takyr soils of Kashkadarya region with meadow type are presented.
